Eight Days Through France's Cultural Tapestry

Travel from Paris through Loire Valley châteaux to Burgundy's legendary vineyards and Provence's sun-drenched villages, where master vintners, château owners, and local artisans share the secrets behind France's reputation as civilisation's most refined expression of art, culture, and joie de vivre.

Day One

Paris

Arrive in Paris where you will be driven to the beautiful Le Bristol, with the opportunity to relax and enjoy a truly Parisian dinner in one of the most exquisite restaurants in Paris.

Day Two

Journey to Reims

You will be driven to the station and depart on Le Grand Tour on route to Reims, the City of Kings, where there will be the opportunity to taste some of the regions best Champagne. After lunch, the journey continues to Beaune, the jewel of the Burgundy region, where you will be able to see the secret sites of the famous Hospices. This evening on the train there will be entertainment showcasing this region of France followed by dinner. The train will travel through the night towards Provence.

Day Three

Avignon

This morning we will arrive in Avignon, The Palace of the Popes, with the chance to see some of the best kept secrets of this region. In the evening you will enjoy dinner curated by Alexandre from fresh local ingredients as the sun sets over the majestic city of Carcassonne.

Day Four

Bay of Arcachon

As the Atlantic air draws near we will arrive at the Bay of Arcachon. Following a journey around the Dubourdieu historic artisanal shipyards, we will climb aboard a Pinnace to have a very special cruise around the Bay, before returning to the train and dinner.

Day Five

La Rochelle

The train arrives this morning into La Rochelle, The Jewel of the Atlantic. A chance to discover the medieval towers and paved streets, where the aromas of beautiful food and sea breeze mingle. This evening there will be a tour of Chenonceau, The Ladies Chateau and some breathtaking local entertainment.

Day Six

Puy du Fou

Le Grand Tour ends with a spectacular journey back in time at Le Puy du Fou, over the course you will see historic spectacles and entertainment that will simply amaze you - the best of France. A very special farewell dinner will be at Le Puy du Fou this evening before boarding the train tomorrow morning.

Day Seven

Paris to Home

Today, as you enjoy brunch on the train and talk about the incredible experiences you have seen, we return to Paris and from there your journey home.
